Each season has its special attraction. For me, fall has always been my favorite. The coolness, the colors, fall festivals, wearing sweatshirts, football games, there’s something about the fall that compels people to get outside.
For a painter, fall represents a color pallet of nature that is unique. To paint outside presents an opportunity to capture colors almost as they change. To me, color is the essence of painting, and fall provides that gift of color only offered for a brief time. Go out and catch it.
